Joe T. Glass, born at Claremore Indian Hospital on April 4, 1937 to Susie Seabolt and Lynch Glass; he departed from this life on February 2, 2018 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 80.

Joe graduated from Sequoyah Indian School in 1959. He went to work and then retired from Whirlpool in Ft Smith, Arkansas in 1999. Joe came to know the Lord and was saved and baptized by Sam Hider in 1948. He loved reading his bible and sharing the gospel and his testimony with those around him. He truly loved his family and was devoted to them; spending as much time as he could with each and every one of them. Joe was an avid lover of the outdoors. He was often found tinkering with one of his many “projects” around his home; where when not outside he was found in his favorite chair watching a sci-fi movie or golf since he loved to keep up with his favorites.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Willie Vann, his children, Donna Kay Springwater and Tony Glass, brother, James “Jimmy” Proctor Jr, sister; Mary Bell Sevenstar, and mother of his children; Peggy Glass.

Left to celebrate his memory is his sons: Waylon Glass and his wife Lisa, Mike Feathers, grandchildren; Stacy, Samantha and Skylar Glass, Stephanie Wisdom and husband Drew, great grandchildren; Amiah and Charlee Wisdom. siblings; Viola Fourkiller, Shirley Sevenstar and Lynch Glass Jr, sister in law Betty Proctor, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

    Condolences to the family, It isn't easy for you to say "good-bye" to a loved one remember it is only for a short time. I remember Joe and sister Vi when visiting my sister and brother/law, Jim and Betty, he was a very nice person as is all his family. Prayers for God's Peace

    Prayers for the family. I remember Joe as I was growing up @ Belfonte anytime he was in Nicut he would stop by and visit my dad Riley Sevenstar. Mr. Joe was a sweet man. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
